Chautauqua performance featuring William Wells Brown

The show focuses on Brown’s life, his escape from slavery, his work as a conductor on the Underground Railroad, and his achievement as the first African-American to publish a novel.

 The show is part of the Kentucky Humanities Kentucky Chautauqua program, which features live, historically accurate portrayals of historical figures at schools and community organizations and is brought to us by The Friends of the Corbin Public Library.
