History Comes to Life
What does it take to build an extraordinary life when the world is determined to hold you back? Meet Colonel Charles Young, a Kentucky born pioneer whose courage, perseverance, and remarkable military career helped make history.
Through a live portrayal by actor Michael Jones, discover how Young became the third African American graduate of West Point and rose through the Army ranks despite facing widespread racism. His achievements included serving as the first African American superintendent of a national park and the first African American military attaché.
Join us for an engaging evening for all ages, especially history lovers and homeschool families.
